What They Started With
This retail traffic monitoring company already had a website, landing pages and a google ads campaign set up by another vendor. After completing an audit of the Google Ads account, the account wasn’t performing as well as we knew it could, so we re-built the entire campaign from the ground up.

Google Search Ads
After our initial audit, we found this account was wasting a significant amount of money on clicks that were not very relevant to the client’s core service offering. We deeply analyzed the years of historical data this google ad account had, and noticed that one keyword was responsible for a large portion the conversions. The first step to turning this account around was to set up a campaign specifically for this keyword, so we can set budgets, bids and ads specifically for this high producing keyword. We then completed a competitor analysis where we were able to glean more information on what’s working for others in this industry. After that, we added hundreds of negative keywords that helped us pare down the traffic into high intent, highly relevant search terms.
Conversion Rate Optimization
We were also able to reduce the cost per click this account was spending on certain keywords by improving the Google Ads keyword quality score in a few cases. This was done by creating more semantic landing page headings and tighter ad groups with few keywords in each ad group.
